What is the Israel Bonds School Program?
The Israel Bonds School program helps to provide a direct connection between students and the State of Israel and to promote Israel Bonds as a way to connect students to Israel and its people.
Many students and families find it meaningful to strengthen a nation that shares so many of their core ideals and values: strengthening Jewish identity and continuity; an open and vibrant democracy; partnering with a country that innovates and shares life-saving technologies with countries near and far.
The Israel Bonds School program can be modified to fit the needs of different communities and organisations across Canada.
Presently, participating institutions include Hebrew Day & Secondary Schools, Synagogues, & Hebrew Supplementary Schools.
Here is one example of how the program is structured in a Hebrew Day School in Toronto. Amounts may vary from school to school based on preferences of the organizing committees:
