Dear Friends,

OJC is very excited to participate in a Passover campaign with Israel Bonds! Together, we can make a real impact by supporting both our community and the people of Israel with a single donation!

The campaign will run during April 2023, with tax receipts issued by OJC for the 2023 tax year. ALL monies collected from members and friends will be invested by OJC in 1-year Israel Shalom bonds. At the end of the 1-year term, OJC will use the proceeds of the matured bonds towards our operational budget. This fundraising project therefore serves as a double mitzvah – strengthening our local community and also our beloved State of Israel.

We would hope that every member is able to participate with a minimum contribution of $36. Please click or tap on the button above to access our OJC donation page. When you do, please be sure to mark “For OJC/Israel Bonds Campaign” in the Additional Information box on the OJC donation page.

If you have any questions or would like to would like to discuss this campaign with me, please see my contact info below. For any enquiries about Israel Bonds, Ross Sadoff’s contact information follows.

Wishing you and your loved ones a very safe, healthy & meaningful Chag Pesach Sameach,

About Israel Bonds

On May 14, 1948, David Ben-Gurion spoke six words that electrified the world:

“The State of Israel has arisen!”

Three years later, Ben-Gurion made another dramatic announcement: Israel Bonds, his initiative for a global economic partnership with Israel, had officially launched.

A defining moment in Israel's history, the creation of Israel Bonds reinforced the deeply-held connection between supporters of Israel around the world and the people of Israel. Together, they would build the reborn Jewish nation.

Today, the Israel Bonds enterprise has spread throughout the world. Friends of Israel on three continents continue to view Israel bonds as value-added securities — and significant acquisitions for financial portfolios and direct investments in a land of creative achievement.

Israel Bonds are backed by the full faith and credit of the State of Israel, which has always made interest and principal payments on Israel bonds since the first bond was issued.

From its launching in 1951 and continuing through the present day, Israel Bonds has played a unique role in Israel’s rapid progression from struggling agrarian nation to global economic powerhouse.

Today, investing in Israel bonds supports a nation of extraordinary innovation that continues to push the boundaries of modern technology.
