  • Can I purchase as a gift for somebody living in another country?

    Yes.

  • Can I purchase several bonds for different people at one time?

    Yes.

  • How many bondholders can hold a single bond?

    Up to four bondholders can hold a single bond.

  • Can I purchase a bond for a minor?

    Yes.

  • On what date are bonds issued?

    All bonds are issued twice monthly, on the 1st and 15th of each month, except for Mazel Tov bonds, which are issued once monthly on the 1st of each month, unless stated otherwise. Visit our rates page for more information.

  • Can I add beneficiaries?

    No.

  • What are increments?

    Increments are set amounts by which you can increase your minimum purchase amount.

  • What rate will I receive?

    You will receive the rate in effect during the offering period in which your full payment and completed forms are received. See current rates for additional information.

  • Can I use multiple methods of payment on the purchase of a single bond?

    No. The fiscal agent accepts only one method of payment per bond.

  • What methods of payment do you accept?

  • What is the difference between a Mazel Tov bond and an eMazel Tov bond?

    The eMazel Tov bond may only be purchased online, while the Mazel Tov bond is not available for online purchase. Each bond has a different minimum subscription, rate, and terms and conditions. Visit our rates page for more information.

  • I want to purchase a gift bond but do not have the recipient's contact details. Can I add the details after the bond has been purchased?

    No. At the time of purchase, we must have the recipient’s name, address, date of birth, email address, and telephone number. (If purchasing for a minor, please provide legal guardian’s phone number and email address.)

  • If I realise I’ve made a mistake after I have submitted my application, can I correct it later?

  • What if I change my mind and have already submitted the application and/or payment, and want to cancel my order?

  • How can I change my account information?

  • Will I still have to send documents to the office if I register and purchase online?

    No. This would only be necessary in rare occurrences, such as if a document was not properly received, uploaded, or transmitted during your online purchase or registration.

  • Is it possible to receive statements by email only?

    No.

  • Does subscription mean that I will have to make a monthly payment?

    No. Payment occurs once.

  • Can I apply in-person with a representative but purchase online? Can I apply online and later purchase in-person with a representative?
