National Director of Sales - Toronto


State of Israel Bonds Canada is currently seeking a National Director of Sales based out of the Toronto office. Reporting to the CEO, the Director will be responsible for implementing a strategy for the sale of Israel Bonds.

Towards this goal, the Director will be responsible for working with head office management, community lay leadership and business professionals to develop sales-oriented programs and approaches that will grow the volume of sales, notably in the Advisory/Brokerage sector, increase the client base at the institutional and retail levels, while sustaining and growing account relationships with current investors.

Requirements:

  • Must have 3-plus years of sales experience in the financial services/brokerage industry.
  • Canadian Securities Course designation.
  • Utilize broad range of programs and activities including special events and educational gatherings in order to maximize sales, create presence and build constituency.
  • Play an active, frontline role in business development efforts.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the sales team.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan in the institutional and retail sectors.
  • Stay on the cutting edge of industry and market comparable products.
  • Secure new business as well as grow existing customer accounts.
  • CRM database (preferably Salesforce.com) familiarity an asset.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office and possess strong verbal, written, analytical and communication skills.
  • Prior community experience as well as interest and/or experience in Israel and/or Jewish community affairs.

City Director, Montreal


Coming from the financial services industry and reporting to the CEO in Toronto, the Montreal- based City Director will be responsible for implementing a local strategy for the sale of Israel Bonds and fulfilling an annual sales quota.

Towards this goal, the City Director will be responsible for working with head office management, community lay leadership and business professionals to develop sales-oriented programs and approaches that will grow the volume of sales, notably in the Advisory/Brokerage sector, increase the client base at the institutional and retail levels, while sustaining and growing account relationships with current investors.

Requirements:

  • Must have 5-plus years of sales experience in the financial services/brokerage industry.
  • Canadian Securities Course, Conduct & Practices Handbook and preferably Branch Managers Course.
  • Manage staff, providing strategic leadership, constructive feedback and performance management.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan in the institutional and retail sectors.
  • Stay on the cutting edge of industry and market comparable products.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the sales team.
  • Utilize broad range of programs and activities including special events and educational gatherings in order to maximize sales, create presence and build constituency.

Towards this goal, the City Director will be responsible for working with head office management, community lay leadership and business professionals to develop sales-oriented programs and approaches that will grow the client base, while sustaining and growing account relationships with current investors.


Requirements:

  • Experience working in the financial industry, Canadian Securities Course & Conduct Practice Handbook designations preferred.
  • Prior community experience as well as interest and/or experience in Israel and/or Jewish community affairs.
  • 5+ years in sales leadership capacity
  • Strong networking skills with ability to comfortably interface with all levels of staff
    and clientele.
